Charge Pump & Current Sink LED Drivers

Semtech manufactures an extensive line of charge pump and current sink LED driver ICs, serving handheld consumer electronics (mobile handsets, smart-phones, media players, digital cameras, personal navigation devices, etc.), as well as small handheld medical and industrial devices. The products include charge pump and current sink LED drivers for display and/or keypad backlighting, charge pumps for high-brightness LED camera flash, and light management units (LMUs) that integrate LED drivers with other functions to simplify system-level designs. These LED drivers and LMUs support up to 8 parallel-connected LEDs, thereby avoiding the need for an inductor. All Semtech LED Driver ICs are designed for high efficiency in the smallest footprint, providing accurate current regulation, low noise, and a wide dimming range.
